Infra stock primarily engaged in the business of undertaking the construction of industrial and commercial buildings, roads, and many more jumped 9 percent in the day’s trade upon posting its Q4FY24 results with a 18 percent jump in Net Profits.
With a market capitalization of Rs. 17,138 Crores, the shares of NCC Limited were trading at Rs. 272.95, up 8.72 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 251.05.
Its revenue from operations grew by 31 percent YoY from Rs. 4,949.03 Crores in Q4FY23 to Rs. 6,484.88 Crores in Q4FY24 and it grew by 23.28 percent QoQ from Rs. 5,260.08 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 6,484.88 Crores in Q4FY24. Annually it generated a revenue of Rs. 15,553.41 Crores in FY23 and Rs. 20,844.96 Crores in FY24 indicating a growth of 34 percent YoY.
Its Net Profit grew by 18 percent YoY from Rs. 202.97 Crores in Q4FY23 to Rs. 238.74 Crores in Q4FY24 and it grew by 3.36 percent QoQ from Rs. 230.96 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 238.74 Crores in Q4FY24. Annually it generated a profit of Rs. 646.21 Crores in FY23 and Rs. 740.41 Crores in FY24 indicating a growth of 15 percent YoY.
In Addition, the Board of Directors of NCC Limited has recommended a Dividend of 110 percent i.e., Rs. 2.20 per equity share with a face value of Rs. 2 per share for the financial year 2023-24.
NCC Limited is primarily engaged in the business of undertaking EPC contracts and BOT projects involving the construction of industrial and commercial buildings, roads, railway track laying, dedicated freight corridors, power transmission lines, and many more.
NCC Limited has a strong clientele base with well-known players like Indian Oil Corporation, NHAI, Adani, Namma Metro, NBCC, Airports Authority of India, MMRC, RVNL, Coal India, PowerGrid and many others.
As of Q4FY24 NCC Limited has a diversified order book of Rs. 57,536 Crores, and its breakup consists with business verticals across buildings 39 percent, transportation 17 percent, electrical T&D 20 percent, water and railways 12 percent, Mining 1 percent, Irrigation 1 percent and others 10 percent.
