Infra stock engaged in the business of providing EPC services jumped 11 percent in the day’s trade following the release of its Q3FY24 results with a 56 percent jump in its Net Profit. 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 6,604 Crores, the shares of Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited were trading at Rs. 985.85, up 9.27 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 902.25. 

Its revenue from operations grew by 38.10 percent YoY from Rs. 743.25 Crores in Q3FY23 to Rs. 1,026.47 Crores in Q3FY24 and it grew 13.85 percent QoQ from Rs. 901.54 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 1,026.47 Crores in Q3FY24. 

Its Net Profit grew by 56.29 percent YoY from Rs. 44.94 Crores in Q3FY23 to Rs. 70.24 Crores in Q3FY24 and it grew 27.56 percent QoQ from Rs. 55.06 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 70.24 Crores in Q3FY24. 

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited is an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company engaged in the business of providing civil construction activities by delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure and building projects for clients in India and abroad. 

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) has a gross order book of Rs. 14,464 Crores and its segment-wise breakup is as follows, Infrastructure 29.7 percent, Hospital 25.4 percent, Institutional 24.2 percent, Residential 12.4 percent, Commercial 7.9 percent and Hotel 0.4 percent. 

It has a strong customer base, with well-known players like Rites, ITC, NBCC, DLF, Indiabulls, Brigade Enterprises, Max Healthcare, and many others.
