With a market cap of Rs. 20,961.7 crore, the share price of KEC International Limited moved up by 3% on BSE to hit an intraday high at Rs. 833.3 on Tuesday, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 809.05.
The stock has delivered positive returns of nearly 45 percent in one year and around 34.8 percent positive returns year-to-date.
Since January 2024, KEC International has received orders for a total amount of Rs. 9,655 crore till 7th June 2024 across its various businesses including Transmission & Distribution (T&D), civil, railways, cable and others.

29th January – order worth Rs. 1,304 crore
The company received the aforementioned contract order in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business segment, covering cable and civil work. This includes orders for a 765 kV Transmission line and a 765 kV GIS Substation in India from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a 220 kV Transmission line order in the SAARC region, and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in America.
7th February – order worth Rs. 1,175 crore
In the T&D business segment, orders were secured for 765 kV transmission lines and 765 kV GIS substation projects in India from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), as well as for the supply of transmission hardware in the Americas. The Civil segment secured an order in the residential building vertical in India. Additionally, the Cable segment received orders for solar projects in India.
13th March – order worth Rs. 2,257 crore
The T&D vertical has secured several orders, including a 765 kV transmission line and substation orders in India from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). Additionally, the segment has obtained orders for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, as well as for projects in the oil and gas pipelines, cables, and infrastructure sectors.
22nd March – order worth Rs. 1,004 crore
The company secured a contract in the T&D segment, specifically in the Railways and cables sectors. This comprehensive order includes the construction of transmission lines, substations, and underground cabling in India, as well as the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.
3rd April – order worth Rs. 816 crore
The T&D segment secured orders for the supply of towers in the USA. and in case of the Civil segment secured orders for infrastructure projects consisting of setting up a steel plant in Northern India, building a cement plant in Central India, and establishing a plant for Carbon derivates in Eastern India and in Cable segment received orders for the supply of various types of cables in India and overseas.
29th April – order worth Rs. 1,036 crore
The company secured orders that consisted of setting up Overhead Transmission lines in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and supply of towers, hardware and poles in Americas, as well as additional work under the railways segment and supply of various types of cables in India and overseas in the cable vertical.
5th June – order worth Rs. 1,002 crore
In the Civil vertical, KEC secured orders that consisted of residential projects in Northern and Southern India from renowned real estate developers as well as construction of official residences and associated facilities for senior Defence officials in India.
7th June – order worth Rs. 1,061 crore
KEC secured transmission lines and substation orders in India, along with an additional order for a transmission line in Malaysia and a supply of towers, hardware and poles in the Americas.
Its railway vertical secured a maiden order for composite gauge conversion works and setting up of a power supply system from Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC), while the cable vertical received orders for the supply of power transmission conductors in India and supply of various types of cables in India and overseas.
