With a market capitalization of Rs 3,294.59 crore, the shares of Genesys International Corporation Ltd were trading at Rs 820.60 per share, increasing around 8 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 759.55 apiece.
Reason for rise:-
The shares of the company have seen positive movement after Genesys International Corporation Ltd partnered with SatSure to Elevate Geospatial Solutions in Aviation, Forestry, Disaster Management, and Utilities.
Moreover, the collaboration aims to merge Genesys’ detailed 3D mapping and LiDAR expertise with SatSure’s satellite-based remote sensing and AI-driven platform capabilities, unlocking powerful, data-driven solutions across aviation, forestry, disaster management, and utilities.
Furthermore, through this partnership, both companies will leverage AI to enhance the resolution, coverage, and analytics capabilities available to customers, providing comprehensive, actionable insights that enable informed decision-making.
Additionally, the alliance will develop joint solutions combining aerial and satellite data with advanced analytics, enabling clients across sectors to improve operations. Key applications include enhanced airspace management, sustainable forestry tracking, rapid disaster response planning, and optimized utility maintenance with predictive, high-resolution insights.
Financial performance:-
On Monday, Genesys International Corporation Ltd announced its financial performance, revenue jumped by 119 percent on year on year basis from Rs 33 crore in Q2FY24 to Rs 72 crore in Q2FY25, however, in Quarter a Quarter basis revenue zoomed by 29 percent from Rs 56 crore in Q1FY25 to Rs 72 crore Q2Y25.
Moreover, net profit is magnified by 467 percent on a yearly basis from a Rs 3 crore loss in Q2FY24 to Rs 11 crore profit in Q2FY25, meanwhile on a quarter-on-quarter basis net profit also jumped multifold times by 120 percent from Rs 5 crore in Q1FY25 to Rs 11 crore in Q2FY25.
Remarkable return:-
The shares have given a return of 36.82 percent in one year and a multi-bagger return of 162.08 percent in years. If an individual invested Rs 1 lakh a year ago, it would now be worth Rs 2.62 lakh.
Strategic Initiatives:-
The company plans to launch two new verticals in location intelligence within the next two quarters, enhancing its product portfolio and market reach. Additionally, Genesys aims to increase its focus on the automotive segment, which is expected to drive further revenue growth.
Operational Improvement:-
The company’s EBITA margin improved significantly to 40.8 percent in Q2FY25 from 23.2 percent in the previous year, reflecting enhanced operational efficiency and profitability. The company’s focus on improving cash flow and reducing collection periods is expected to support this trend.
