In India, Business Process Management (BPM) companies such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Cognizant, and Genpact are key players. These companies have been instrumental in driving outsourcing and automation solutions, offering services across various industries. With India’s large talent pool, the BPM sector has seen substantial growth, particularly in IT services, customer support, and back-office functions.

The future of BPM in India is poised for growth, fueled by automation technologies like AI, RPA, and machine learning, which improve operational efficiency. However, there’s also a growing demand for human interaction, as businesses strive to maintain a personal touch, especially in customer-facing roles. The Indian BPM market is expected to thrive by striking a balance between automation and customer-centric services, tapping into emerging sectors like healthcare, fintech, and retail.

What is a bonus share?

A bonus share is a free additional share issued by a company to its existing shareholders, usually in proportion to the shares they already hold. It is distributed from the company’s accumulated earnings or reserves and does not require shareholders to make any payment. Bonus shares increase the total number of shares in circulation, but the overall value of the investment remains the same, as the share price adjusts accordingly. This move is often made to reward shareholders and improve liquidity.
