The market leader stock in Mutual fund transfer agency surged 3% to an intraday high price of ₹2,984.05 per share on Tuesday trade after the company reported notable financial performance in the third quarter results. 

At 2:15 p.m., Computer Age Management Services Ltd shares were quoted at ₹ 2,947 per share, up 1.69 percent from the previous close price on the exchange. The company has a market capitalization of ₹14,495 crores. 

Computer Age Management Services Ltd’s revenue from operation increased by 19 percent year-on-year, from ₹243 crore in Q3FY23 to ₹289 crore in Q3FY24. Similarly, during the same period, net profit rose by 20% from ₹73 crore to ₹88 crore. 

In comparison to the preceding quarter, operational revenue by 5.2 percent, increasing from ₹275 crores in Q2FY24 to ₹289 crores in Q3FY24. Additionally, net profit surged by 6% from ₹83 crores to ₹88 crores during this timeframe, as reported in the company’s exchange filing. 

Computer Age Management Services Ltd (CAMS)is a financial infrastructure and services provider that offers a mutual fund transfer agency, registrar, KYC registration agency, and other services. The company also offers online transactions, mail-back, capital accounting, and investment services. 

CAMS is India’s largest mutual fund registration and transfer agency (RTA), with a market share of around 69% based on mutual fund average assets under management (AAUM). And 40% market share in the insurance repository business, with ~5.5 Mn policies held. 

The company’s MF AUM stood at ₹ 33.95 Tn, registering a 22% growth YoY. The overall equity AUM stood at ₹16.9 Tn., registering 31% growth YoY, growing ahead of the rest of the industry which grew by 24%. And EBITDA grew by 19.7% YoY. 

Computer Age Management Services shares have gained 24 percent in the last six months and 30 percent in a year. 

As per the latest shareholding pattern, The Foreign Institutional Investor holds 47.69 percent of the company, and domestic institutional investors hold 23.07 percent stake.
