The shares of the entertainment company jumped around 1 after signing a multi-project licensing agreement with Zee Entertainment. The company was recently listed in October 2023.
With a market capitalization of Rs. 89 crores, the shares of Inspire Flims Ltd started Tuesday’s trading session positively at Rs. 66.50. The share hit a high of Rs. 67.50 making a gain of around 1 percent and currently trading at Rs. 65.65 apiece.
Such a positive movement was observed after the company in an exchange filing mentioned that it had signed a multi-project licensing agreement with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. Furthermore, the popular IPs were been sub-licensed by the company to the leading OTT platform MX Player.
Coming onto the company’s financials, the revenue increased by around 28 percent from Rs. 38.15 crores during FY21 to Rs. 48.83 crores in FY22. In addition, the net profit magnified by 1457 percent from Rs. 26 lakhs to Rs. 4.05 crores during the same timeframe.
Looking at the important financial ratio, the return on equity (RoE) was at 38.3 percent during FY22. Moreover, the return on capital employed(RoCE) was recorded at 38.1 percent in the same period.
According to the latest shareholding pattern, the Promoters have a stake of 68.40 percent and the remaining 31.60 percent shares are with the Retail Investors.
Inspire Films Ltd was incorporated on January 19, 2012. The company is primarily engaged in the business of creation, distribution, production, and exhibition of television and digital content across broadcasting channels, apps, and digital platforms as well as content writing, production and sale, and purchase of film rights.
