Shares of a company engaged in the business of commerce, trade and distribution hit a 5 percent upper circuit on BSE at Rs. 242.95 in the trading session of Friday, after the company secured an order worth nearly Rs. 51.3 lakhs from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. 

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 247.5 crores, the shares of Alphalogic Industries Limited opened in the green at Rs. 242.95, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 231.4. 

What’s the News: 

According to the latest regulatory filings with the BSE, Alphalogic Industries received an order worth around Rs. 51.3 lakhs from the National Film Archive of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B), Government of India. 

The order is for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of mobile and fixed racks, to be executed within this quarter. 

Financials: 

The company experienced significant growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year rise of around 163.8 percent from Rs. 18.02 crores in FY23 to Rs. 47.54 crores in FY24. 

Similarly, its net profit increased marginally during the same period from Rs. 2.2 crores to Rs. 2.4 crores, indicating a growth of nearly 9 percent YoY.

Shares of Alphalogic Industries have delivered multibagger returns of nearly 113 percent in one year and around 33.7 percent in the last six months. So far in 2024, the stock has given about 61 percent of positive returns.
