On Thursday’s trading session, the shares of a company engaged in manufacturing plastic engineering components and sub-assemblies surged by 4.7 percent to Rs. 329, after the company secured a purchase order worth Rs. 3.2 crores from an Indian Automotive company.
At 10:29 a.m., the shares of Master Components Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 324.8, up by 3.4 percent, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 314, with a market capitalisation of Rs. 130 crores.
What’s the News:
As per the latest regulatory filings with the NSE, Master Components received a continuous purchase order from an Indian Automotive company, amounting to nearly Rs. 3.2 crore per annum.
The order is for the supply of plastic moulded parts to be manufactured at the plant located in Nashik, with deliveries scheduled according to the customer’s specified timelines.
Previous Order:
On 5th July, Master Components received a purchase order from a US-based company operating in the childcare industry, amounting to Rs. 2.38 crores.
The order was for the development and manufacturing of Aesthetic and Mechanism Parts to be supplied at the company’s domestic plant. The order is to be executed by December 2024, including the time required for the development of parts.
Financials & Shareholding Pattern:
In FY23-24, the company generated Rs. 25.3 crore in operating revenue, a 22.2 percent increase from the Rs. 20.7 crore recorded in FY22-23. Similarly, the net profit also grew by 58.8 percent reaching Rs. 2.7 crore, up from Rs. 1.7 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
According to the latest shareholding pattern, the Promoters hold a 72.45 percent stake in the company, and Retail Investors hold a 27.55 percent stake in Master Components.
