With a market capitalization of Rs 21,547.07 crore, the shares of Multi Commodity Exchange Of India Ltd were trading at Rs 4,225.05 per share, increasing around 2.14 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 4,140.80 apiece.
Reason for rise:-
The share of the company has seen positive movement after Multi Commodity Exchange Of India Ltd’s revenue zooming by 21 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis from Rs. 181 crores in Q4FY24 to Rs. 234 crores in Q1FY25. Further, revenue magnified by 60 percent year on year from Rs 146 crores in Q1FY24 to Rs. 234 crores in Q1FY25.
Multi Commodity Exchange Of India Ltd’s net profit increased by 26 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis from Rs. 88 crores in Q4FY24 to Rs 111 in Q1FY25. Further, on a year-on-year basis also net profit magnified drastically by 455 percent from Rs. 20 crores in Q1FY24 to Rs. 111 crores in Q1FY25.
