WPIL Limited’s stock witnessed a rally of around 8 percent on Monday’s session and closed at a price of Rs 2,208.90 levels. The stock has been on a ride of consistent rise in the stock prices wherein for a month period it has been able to generate around 91 percent upside from Rs 1,159 to current levels.
Going within six months, it gave around 72 percent upside from Rs 1,295.70 to the current levels and multibagger returns of 152 percent over a period of one year ranging from Rs 877 to current levels.
On 3rd of March, 2023, the company filed a corporate announcement with BSE and stated that it received 4 Letters of Acceptance (LOA) from Madhya Pradesh ‘Jal Nigam Maryadit’ for the execution of Turnkey Projects including engineering, procurement, construction, testing commissioning, and 10 years Operation & Maintenance of Bebus Sunar 2, Kutne Rajnagar, Lower Narmada and Mann Dam multi village schemes for a total value of Rs 1,225 crores and the same has to be completed within a 2-year time frame.

After emerging as a leading pump and pumping systems company in India, the company has expanded its operations globally and now has manufacturing operations in the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Switzerland, South Africa, Zambia, Australia, and Thailand through its Group companies.
Having a look at the financials of the company, it has been able to deliver a good amount of returns to its stakeholders. Correlating with numbers, the company’s revenues and net profits have shown a great amount of improvement with revenues being Rs 404 crores in Q2 v/s Rs 507 crores in Q3. Net profits have more than tripled from Rs 26 crores in Q2 v/s Rs 84 crores in Q3.
Talking about the margins generated by the company, the operating profit of the company was standing at 12 percent in Q2 as compared to 21 percent in Q3. The net profit margins have also shown congruence in the percent reported which is 6.45 percent in Q2 v/s 16.5 percent in Q3.
