What Happened

Railtel Corporation of India Ltd, which is engaged in providing nationwide broadband telecom and multimedia network services across India, has received two new work orders totaling Rs. 63.55 crores.

The first order, worth Rs. 37.18 crores, has been secured from Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd for expanding the SDC and establishing a disaster recovery center, with a completion deadline of June 27, 2029.

The second work order worth Rs. 26.37 crores, has been received from the Cuttack Development Authority for installing 14 billboard systems, providing hardware, along with a 3-year AMC and command control support in various locations of Cuttack city, and the project is to be completed by July 11, 2025.

Financials (Q3 Resuls)

The company’s revenue rose by 15.93 percent from Rs.  674.81 crore to Rs. 782.29 crore in Q3FY24-25. Meanwhile, Net profit rose from Rs. 62.14 crores to Rs. 65.05 crore during the same period.
