This Navratna stock gained around 2.5% to an intraday high of ₹135.70 per share on Thursday after it received a work order worth ₹459.70 crores from the Maharashtra government and also completed the sale of commercial built-up space in New Delhi for a value of ₹272.68 crores.
At 1:15 p.m., NBCC (India) Ltd. shares were trading at ₹134.40 per share, up 1.55 % from the previous close price. The company has a market capitalization of ₹24,192 crore.
The company’s subsidiary, HSCC, received a work order worth ₹459.70 crores from the Government of Maharashtra for the construction of the 600 Bedded General Hospital, 250 Bedded Cancer Hospital, and 250 Bedded Super Maharashtra Specialty Hospital at Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
On February 28, 2024, NBCC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with IFCI Limited for the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects as well as repair/renovation and renovation works for IFCI’s properties on a pan-India basis for a value of ₹150 crore.
NBCC completed the sale of approximately 61,000 sq ft of commercial built-up space in Ayurvigyan Nagar, New Delhi, to the Grid Controller of India Ltd. (a PSU under the Ministry of Power). The transaction is valued at ₹. 272.68 crore. The company reported this in its exchange filing.
In FY22-23, the company reported revenue segmented as follows: 92% from the Project Management Consultancy segment, followed by 6% from EPC projects, and 2% from redevelopment projects.
NBCC (India) Limited is a Government of India Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The company operates in three major segments – Project Management Consultancy, Engineering Procurement and construction, and Real Estate.
The company’s revenue has increased by 21% year on year, from ₹1,587 crore in Q3FY23 to ₹1,919 crore in Q3FY24. In the same time frame, net profit has increased by 91% from ₹49 crore to ₹94 crore.
The company has wholly-owned subsidiaries such as NBCC Services Limited, HSCC (India) Ltd, and NBCC DWC- LLC (Dubai).
NBCC shares have gained 161% in the last six months and 298% in a year. For instance, a shareholder investment of ₹ 1 lakh in the company six months ago, would be worth ₹3.98 lakhs.
