The shares of this small-cap stock gained up to 2.2 percent after the company received an order worth 101.13 crore from the Civil Services Officers Institute(CSOI) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti respectively. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 15,777.00 crore, the shares of NBCC (India) Ltd were trading at Rs 87.85 per share, decreasing around 0.17 as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 88.00 apiece. 

According to the company filing, NBCC (India)Ltd has received orders worth Rs 101.13 crore from two parties. The first order was received from the Civil Services Officers Institute (CSOI) for the renovation of the swimming pool at the Civil Services Officers Institute, New Delhi, and the second order was received from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for the construction of Phase-A Work in various states. 

NBCC (India) Ltd’s revenue increased 4 percent from Rs. 1,556 crores in Q2FY23 to Rs 1,622 crores in Q2FY24. Further, During the same period, Net Profit increased by 14 percent from Rs 99 crores to Rs 85 crores. 

As of March 31, 2023, the value of NBCC’s order book is about Rs 45,275.01 Cr. During the fiscal year 2022-23, the company received orders worth Rs 4,225.44 Cr, including the construction of a medical college and hospital in Karaikal, Puducherry, and the construction of a border barrier and road in the state of Mizoram along the Indo-Bangladesh border. 

The company has completed major projects during the Financial Year 2022-23 which included projects like AIIMS, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh valuing Rs 1,249.82 crore, IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh valuing Rs 580.90 crore, Regional Office Complex of NICL, Kolkata valuing Rs 327.62 crore, NIT- Narela Works, Delhi valuing Rs 271.06 crore. 

NBCC has worked on a variety of projects in areas such as institutional, housing, industrial & environmental, transportation, and power.
