The shares of this public-sector enterprise gained up to 1.5 percent after the company received a work order for Interior and Fitout works for A-400 & A-500 worth Rs 25.38 crore.
With a market capitalization of Rs 15,456.60 crore, the shares of Nbcc Ltd were trading at Rs 85.87 per share, decreasing around 0.80 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 86.56 apiece.
According to the company filing, Nbcc Ltd received a work order from Lokpal of India for Interior and fit-out works for A-400 & A-500 at WTC Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi worth Rs 25.38 crore.
Looking at the numbers, NBCC (India) Ltd’s revenue climbed by 4 percent from Rs 1,556 crores in Q2FY23 to Rs 1,622 crores in Q2FY24. Furthermore, Net Profit decreased by 14 percent within the same time, from Rs 99 crores to Rs 85 crores.
The value of NBCC’s order book as of March 31, 2023, is about Rs 45,275.01 Cr. During the fiscal year 2022-23, the business obtained orders of Rs 4,225.44 Cr, including the building of a medical college and hospital in Karaikal, Puducherry.
During the fiscal year 2022-23, the company completed major projects such as AIIMS, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, valued at Rs 1,249.82 crore, IIT- Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, valued at Rs 580.90 crore, NICL Regional Office Complex, Kolkata, valued at Rs 327.62 crore, and NIT- Narela Works, Delhi, valued at Rs 271.06 crore.
NBCC has also been awarded the most valuable foreign project, the building of 2000 social housing units in Hulumalhe, Republic of Maldives, by Fahi Dhiriulhun Corp (FDC) (Ministry of Housing & Urban Development, Maldives). The project is in the EPC process and is worth USD 130 million. The project is supported by the EXIM bank buyer’s credit scheme.
NBCC Ltd operates on civil construction projects including residential and commercial complexes, infrastructure works for national security, civil sector infrastructure projects, and project execution under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY).
