The shares of the paint company specializing in offering a wide range of decorative and industrial coatings jumped upto 5.5 percent upon declaring Q3 results and generating profit with an 84 percent rise Quarter on Quarter (QoQ).

With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,20,001 crores on Tuesday, the shares of Asian Paints Limited jumped upto 5.5 percent making a high of Rs. 2,416.20 per share compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 2293.60  per share.

What Happened 

Asian Paints Limited engaged in offering a wide range of decorative and industrial coatings has announced its Q3FY25 results.

Its Revenue from operations declined by 7.4 percent YoY from Rs. 7,913 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 7,320 Crores in Q3FY25 and it grew by 6.5 percent QoQ from Rs. 6,868  Crores in Q2FY25 to Rs. 7,320  Crores in Q3FY25.

Its Net Profit declined by 23 percent  YoY Rs. 1,443 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 1,108 Crores in Q3FY25 and it rose by 83.9 percent QoQ from Rs. 602.3 Crores in Q2FY25 to Rs. 1,108 Crores in Q3FY25.

The earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter stood at Rs. 11.56, compared to Rs. 6.28 in the previous quarter and Rs. 15.06 in the same quarter last year.
