Penny stock engaged in the business of execution of turnkey solar PV power plant projects hits a 5 percent upper circuit upon receiving a work order worth Rs. 5.64 Crore 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 102 Crores, the shares of Agni Green Power Limited hit a 5 percent upper circuit in the day’s trade at Rs. 54.80. 

Agni Green Power Limited has received a work order worth Rs. 5.64 Crore from Subhasree Projects Private Limited for Design and engineering, testing, installation, and commissioning and 5 years comprehensive maintenance for grid-connected rooftop Solar power plants. 

The said project is to be installed on school/government buildings in different districts of West Bengal each of array capacity of 10kWp on a Turkey basis. 

Agni Green Power Limited is engaged in the business of execution of turnkey solar PV power plant projects, including design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. 

Its revenue from operations grew 43.01 percent from Rs. 15.4 Crores in FY22 to Rs. 22.02 Crores, accompanied by a profit of Rs. 0.22 Crore to a loss of Rs. 1.41 Crore. 

It has reported a return on equity (ROE) of -4.94 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 0.20 percent, it is not making good returns on its equity and capital employed as the company is not generating consistent profits.
