The fluctuations in the share prices were observed after Jonjua Overseas Limited announced the financial results for H1 FY25, through the recent filings with the BSE on Tuesday post-market hours.
In H1 FY25, the revenue from operations reached Rs. 2.82 crores, marking a half-yearly marginal decline of around 4.7 percent from Rs. 2.96 crores in H2 FY24, but a nearly 188 percent rise year-on-year from Rs. 0.98 crores in H1 FY24.
Further, Jonjua Overseas experienced a year-on-year net profit growth of 36 percent, reaching Rs. 0.87 crores in H1 FY25, up from Rs. 0.64 crores in H1 FY24, and a rise of 53 percent marking a half-yearly growth from Rs. 0.57 crores in H2 FY24.
The company’s total income has increased substantially this time to Rs. 3 crores for the half-year ended on 30th September 2024 from Rs. 1.21 crores for the same period ended last year.
Earnings per share (EPS) has increased to Rs. 1.1 per share for the half-year ended on 30th September 2024, compared to Rs. 0.71 for the previous half-year ended on 31st March 2024.
