The shares of this project management consultants gained up to 4 percent after the company received a project from the National Highway Authority of India worth Rs 8.98 crore, with a market capitalization of Rs 45.37 crores, the shares of Artefact Projects Ltd were trading at Rs 62.45 per share, increasing around 4 percent compared to the previous closing price of Rs 60.04 per share. 

The National Highway Authority of India awarded Artefact Projects Ltd a contract for consultancy services for the Authority’s engineer to supervise the 4 laning of Mohad to Satai Ghat section NH-934, which is a 39.575 km long project in the State of Madhya Pradesh that is being completed on an EPC mode. The contract is valued at Rs 8.98 crore. 

Looking into Artefact Projects Ltd’s performance, revenue increased by 58 percent from Rs 4.07 Crore in Q2FY23 to Rs 6.44 Crore in Q2FY24. During the same time frame, net profit increased by 98 percent from Rs 0.96 crore to Rs 1.91 crore. 

Artefact Projects Ltd. reported return ratios in the recent financial year with a return on equity (ROE) of 9.71 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE)of 7.28 percent. 

Artefact Projects Ltd’s recent shareholding pattern, The Promoters of the company own 39.09 percent while Retail shareholders own a 60.23 percent stake in the company. The equity ratio of the company is 0.21. 

Among the first few companies to serve as independent engineers on PPP highway projects was Artefact. Expert services in design, construction financial closure, operations and maintenance supervision, and quality control of highway ongoing assignments were included in the scope of work. These projects included 17 major national highway projects for the 4/6 laning of 1735 km of NH sections in various States across India.
