The shares of a smallcap Infrastructure Developer engaged in the business of engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) surged as much as 5.5%in today’s trade after securing an order from NTPC worth Rs 13.75 Crores.
Share Price Movement
The shares of GE Power India Ltd, with a market capitalization of Rs 1,835.65 Crores, reached an Intraday high at Rs 289 per share, gaining around 5.5% on Thursday’s trade.
However, the shares closed on a flatter trend at Rs 273.5 per share which was 0.16% lower than the previous close of Rs 274.
Order Details
As per a press release dated February 5th 2025, GE Power India Limited has received a purchase order from NTPC Limited, for an amount of Rs 13.75 Crores, for providing generator parts for the NTPC site in Telangana. The time period by which contract to be executed is 40 weeks.
Financials
The company reported a decline of 10% in Revenue from Operations from Rs 241 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs 217 Crores in Q2FY25. However, the company made a turnaround with its Net Profits of Rs 67 Crores in Q2FY25 as against a Net Loss of Rs 62 Crores in Q2FY24.
Previous Order Details
As per a press release dated December 15th 2024, GE Power India Limited has received
an extension of purchase order for an amount of Rs 18.27 Crores from MP Power Generating Co. Ltd for the supply of boiler parts at Sanjay Gandhi Power Station.
