KPI Green Energy Ltd, a company engaged in the business of n providing solar power, both as an Independent Power Producer (‘IPP’) under the brand name of Solarism’ and as a service provider to Captive Power Producer (‘CPP’) customers has its ex-date for bonus issue on 18th January 2023.

The company announced an issue of bonus shares in a ratio of 1:1. This means, shareholders will receive 1 new fully paid-up share each share held by them. The face value of the shares is worth Rs 10

Shareholders should note that, though the face value of the share will remain unchanged, the market price of the shares will be split in half.

Note: The investors will be eligible for the bonus issue if they purchase shares by 17th January 2023.

This means if a shareholder holds one share of KPI green energy worth Rs. 896 each. Their portfolio will increase to 2 shares of KPI energy with a market price of Rs. 448.

The share had reached its 52-week low Rs. 383.05 on 11th May 2022. The share price of the company has surged by 132.24% since its 52-week low. This means if an investor had invested Rs. 1 lakh at its 52-week low the investment would be currently worth Rs. 2.32 lakhs

Currently, the shares are trading at the price of Rs 888 (IST: 12:45) up by 2.65% on Tuesday.

The company reported a total revenue of Rs 160.1 Crore during the Q2 of FY23 which is an increase compared to the Q1 revenue of Rs. 122.8 Crores. The net profit during the same period stood at Rs 36.7 Crore which is an increase compared to the net profit of Rs. 31.8 Crores during its previous quarter.
