Established in 1960, the company is a Navratna enterprise of the Government of India. The company is classified into three market-focused segments: Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Real Estate (RE).
NBCC (India) has received orders totalling around Rs. 12,682.88 crore since January 2024. Here are all the details about these orders received by the company including the dates, amounts, clients and other relevant information, as per the filings on the stock exchanges.
4th January – Work order of Rs. 98 crore
- The company received a total of five orders valued at around Rs. 98 crore from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
- First order, worth Rs. 50 crore, was for Phase-A Work construction at JNV Distt. Kamrup Metro (Assam).
- Second order, valued at Rs. 12 crore, was for Phase-B Work construction at JNV North Garo Hills (Meghalaya).
- Third order, also valued at Rs. 12 crore, was for Phase-B Work construction at JNV West Garo Hills (Meghalaya).
- Fourth order of Rs. 12 crore, was for Phase-B Work construction at JNV West Tripura.
- Final order, worth Rs. 12 crore, was for Phase-B Work construction at JNV Unakoti Tripura.
4th January – Work order of Rs. 3.13 crore
NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded a work order for the renovation of the swimming pool in New Delhi by the Civil Services Officers Institute (CSOI), and the project was valued at Rs. 3.13 crore.
5th January – Work order of Rs. 25.38 crore
NBCC received a work order worth Rs. 25.38 crore from Lokpal of India for the interior and fit-out works for A-400 & A500 Lokpal of India at WTC Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi.
10th January – Work order of Rs. 419.13 crore
The company received a work order from the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, for the construction of Phase III of BPS Govt. Medical College, Sonepat in Haryana, for a total cost of Rs. 285 crore.
It also received Administrative Approval to increase the cost of the project by Rs. 134.13 crores which has been sanctioned by the Govt. of Haryana.
10th January – Work order of Rs. 218 crore
National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) awarded NBCC (India) a work order worth Rs. 218 crore for the construction of the NIFT Campus at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh along with the modification works of the existing Trade FaciIitation Centre as part of Campus.
15th January – Work order of Rs. 76.62 crore
HSCC (India) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NBCC (India) Limited, has been awarded the work of Project Management Consultancy for setting up the Central Research Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy (CRIYAN) of Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) with 100 bedded Hospital at Dibrugarh, Assam.
The project is expected to be completed within 24 months and is valued at Rs. 76.62 crore.
16th January – Work order of Rs. 138.95 crore
The company received a total of five orders worth about Rs. 138.95 crore. Four of these orders came from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, while the fifth one was from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India.
- First order, valued at Rs. 10 crore, was for construction work on Phase-B at JNV Palamu-II (Jharkhand).
- Second order encompassed construction work on Phase-A, Phase-B, & Phase-B (Bal.) at JNV East Delhi (Delhi), with a project value of Rs. 42.2 crore.
- Third order, also valued at Rs. 42.2 crore, was for construction work on Phase-A, Phase-B, & Phase-B (Bal.) at JNV Shahdara (Delhi).
- Similarly, the fourth order, worth Rs. 42.2 crore, involved construction work on Phase-A, Phase-B, & Phase-B (Bal.) at JNV Narela (Delhi).
- The final order, from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, was for the renovation of additional office space at Mayur Bhawan, New Delhi, valued at Rs. 2.35 crore.
19th February – Work order of Rs. 369.05 crore
The company secured a work order totaling Rs. 369.05 crore from three different clients.
- First order, valued at Rs. 331.9 crore, came from Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University. It involves upcoming infrastructure development works of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University at Jhansi and the new campus viz Morena/Khajuraho, Newari.
- Second order, worth Rs. 12.17 crore, was awarded by the High Court for the State of Telangana for the construction of a Single Court Complex and Residential Quarter in Boath, Adilabad District, Telangana.
- The final order, valued at Rs. 24.98 crore, was received from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the renovation and furnishing project at ICAI Bhawan in Noida.
20th February – Work order of Rs. 560 crore
Order received from National Institute of Technology, Sikkim, for the construction of the Permanent campus of NIT Sikkim at Dung dung Khamdong, Gangtok, Sikkim.
21st February – Project worth Rs. 10,000 crore
NBCC (India) Limited obtained the in-principle approval of Greater Noida Authority for the development of unused and purchasable FAR in furtherance of existing projects of Amrapali valuing Rs. 10,000 crore.
28th February – Memorandum of Understanding worth Rs. 150 crore
NBCC (India) Limited and IFCI Limited entered into an MoU for the planning, designing and execution of infrastructure projects as well as repair/renovation works for IFCI’s properties on a pan-India basis, for a value of Rs. 150 crore.
29th February – Work order of Rs. 459.7 crore
HSCC (India) Ltd. has been awarded a work order from the Govt. of Maharashtra for 600 Bedded General Hospital, 250 Bedded Cancer Hospital, 250 Bedded Super Specialty Hospital at Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
4th March – Work order of Rs. 92 crore
Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education And Research(PGIMER) Chandigarh awarded an order to HSCC (India) Limited, for the work of construction of an Extension Block for Advanced Eye centre and DDTC in front of drug De-addiction centre, at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
11th March – Work order of Rs. 367.92 crore
HSCC (India) Limited has secured nine work orders totaling Rs. 367.92 crore. Six of these orders are from Medical Education & Ayush, Maharashtra, while the remaining three are from Power Grid Corporation India Ltd.
- First order, valued at Rs. 50.32 crore, involves upgrading existing state government medical colleges to increase MBBS seats at Govt. Medical College, Chandrapur.
- Second order, worth Rs. 63.68 crore, is for constructing three lecture halls and 150-capacity boys’ and girls’ U.G. hostels at Shri Bhausaheb Hire Govt. Medical College, Dhule.
- Third order worth Rs. 45.14 crore, is for constructing various facilities at Government Medical College, Aurangabad, including an exam hall, museum hall, skill laboratory, central record room, education unit, child care unit, and intern hostel.
- Fourth order, costing around Rs. 23.58 crore, is for constructing a lecture hall, laboratories, and demonstration rooms at Government Medical College, Nagpur.
- Fifth order, with a project value of Rs. 54.94 crore, is for the construction of the UG Students Hostel Building Floor at India Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur.
- Sixth work, valued at Rs. 24.47 crore, is for constructing three wards and a lecture hall at Govt. Medical College, Nagpur.
- The remaining three orders from Power Grid Corporation India involve the construction of township works under NERPSIP in Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Mizoram, with values of Rs. 34 crore, Rs. 31.57 crore, and Rs. 40.22 crore, respectively.
