Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise engaged in implementing various types of Rail infrastructure projects, jumped 4 percent in the day’s trade upon receiving multiple work orders worth Rs. 398 Crores.
With a market capitalization of Rs. 54,305 Crores, the shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited were trading at Rs. 260.50, up 2.98 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 252.95. It has delivered multi-bagger returns of 246 percent in a year.
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received multiple work orders worth Rs. 398 Cores, the first order was received from Ser HQ- Electrical/South Eastern Railway worth Rs. 148.26 Crores for the Design, Supply, Erection, Testing, and Commissioning for the upgradation of Electric traction system from 1 x 25 KV to 2 x 25 KV traction system for the Kharagpur section of the Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway to meet the 3000 MT loading Target.
The second order was received from NFR-Const HQ-Electrical /NF.RLY Construction worth Rs. 95.95 Crores for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Design, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 25 kV, 50 Hz, Single Phase, AC, Electrification OHE and TSS Works of Araria – Thakurganj New line Section in connection with New Line Project of Araria – Galgalia of NF. Railway, including associated Works and Supply, erection, modification, testing, and commissioning of SCADA for the section
Lastly, the JV between SALASAR Techno Engineering Ltd and RVNL has received a work order worth $ 71,52,236.59 or Rs. 59.36 Crores from Energy Development Corporation Limited for the Plant Design, Supply, and Installation of 45.8 km, ll0kV Double Circuit Rukarara-Huye-Gisagara Transmission Lines.
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited is a central public sector enterprise with a Navratna status, it is engaged in the business of implementing various types of Rail infrastructure projects like doubling, gauge conversion, new lines, railway electrification, major bridges, etc.
Its revenue from operations declined by 6.44 percent from Rs. 5,012 Crores in Q3FY23 to Rs. 4,689 Crores in Q3FY24, accompanied by profits of Rs. 382 Crores to Rs. 359 Crores.
