Railway Stock engaged in manufacturing metal fabrication, railway wagons, wagon components, castings, and many more jumped 2 percent in the day’s trade upon posting its Q4FY24 results with a 166 percent jump in Net Profits. 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 16,924 Crores, the shares of Jupiter Wagons Limited were trading at Rs. 410.50, up 1.22 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 405.55. It has delivered multi-bagger returns of 272 percent in a year. 

Its revenue from operations grew by 56.72 percent YoY from Rs. 711.7 Crores in Q4FY23 to Rs. 1,115.41 Crores in Q4FY24 and it grew by 25 percent QoQ from Rs. 895.83 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 1,115.41 Crores in Q4FY24. Annually it generated a revenue of Rs. 2,068.24 Crores in FY23 and Rs. 3,643.73 Crores in FY24 indicating a growth of 76 percent YoY. 

Its Net Profit grew by 166.82 percent YoY from Rs. 39.21 Crores in Q4FY23 to Rs. 104.62 Crores in Q4FY24 and it grew by 28.43 percent QoQ from Rs. 81.46 Crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 104.62 Crores in Q4FY24. Annually it generated a Net Profit of Rs. 120.67 Crores in FY23 to Rs. 331.01 Crores in FY24, indicating a growth of 174 percent. 

In Addition, the Board of Directors of Jupiter Wagons Limited has recommended a Dividend of 3 percent i.e., Rs. 0.30 per equity share with a face value of Rs. 10 per share for the financial year 2023-24. 

Jupiter Wagons Limited’s Board Of Directors has also approved the Raising of Funds aggregating to Rs. 1,000 Crores through Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) through public/private offerings of equity shares or any other convertible securities, in one or more tranches.

As of Q4FY24 Jupiter Wagons has an order book of Rs. 7,101.66 Crores, which consists of Railway Wagons, CMS Crossing, Commercial Vehicle Bodies & Components, Containers, Hubs, Brake Disc Assemblies, and others.
