The shares of this microcap company are set to be in focus after the board declares a stock split in the ratio 100:1. The shares have delivered more than 300 percent returns to its shareholders in just one year. 

Price Movement: 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 131 crores, the shares of Jamshri Realty Ltd started Thursday’s trading session on a higher note at Rs. 18,769.15, locking a 2 percent upper circuit, also recorded as the company’s fresh 52-week high compared to its previous close of Rs. 18,401.15. 

What Happened: 

on July 15, Jamshri Realty announced the stock split in the ratio 100:1 i.e., splitting of 1 share having a face value of Rs 1,000 into 100 shares having a face value of Rs 10 each to enhance liquidity in the capital market, widening the shareholder base, and make the stock more affordable for small investors. 

Furthermore, the company has fixed Friday, August 16th, 2024 as the ‘Record Date’ for the purpose of determining the eligibility of Shareholders for the purpose of sub-division /split.

Financials: 

Looking at the company’s financial statements, the revenue increased by around 7 percent from Rs. 1.49 crores during the December quarter to Rs. 1.60 crores in the March quarter. On the other hand, the net losses of the company decreased from Rs. 40 lakhs to Rs. 33 lakhs during the same period.

Jamshri Realty has shifted from its historical roots in textiles to real estate, emphasizing the development of commercial spaces. This includes the JR Ignite Business Park, a modern facility designed to attract IT/ITeS companies and high-tech industries. 

The company also operates in the hospitality sector, offering facilities like the Shubham Resort, which provides a luxurious experience in a natural setting.

According to the latest shareholding pattern, the Promoters hold 73.56 percent of the shares, DIIs possess a 0.35 percent stake, and Retail Investors hold the remaining 26.09 percent.
