The RBI has approved the reappointment of Sandeep Bakhshi as Managing Director and CEO of the private lender for three years. Private sector ICICI Bank on Monday said.
The reappointment of Bakhshi will be effective from October 4, 2023, till October 3, 2026, ICICI Bank said in a regulatory filing.
The bank’s shareholders have already approved the appointment of Bakhshi for three more years, it added.
According to the company filing, total revenue grew by 36% YoY from Rs. 28,336 Cr in Q1 FY23 to Rs. 38,762 Cr in Q1 FY23 and for the same period net profits grew by 39% from Rs. 6,904 Cr to Rs. 9,648 Cr.
On Tuesday at 12:20 p.m., shares were trading 0.8% up at Rs. 987 on BSE.
