On Wednesday the share price of the small-cap pipes and tube manufacturing company share price fell by 2% to its intraday low of ₹1,456 per share from its previous close of ₹1,487.4 after an ace investor sold 1 lakh shares through the bulk deal. 

According to the NSE bulk deal, Ace investor Ashish Kacholia sold 1.03 lakh shares in Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd at an average price of ₹1,511.68 per share which is a 0.51% stake in the company the value of the shares sold was ₹15.57 crores. 

In the December quarter Venus Pipes & Tubes Limited’s net revenue rose by 52% YoY from ₹136 crores to ₹207 crores and on a QoQ basis, their net revenue increased by 8.3% from ₹191 crores. 

Additionally, their net profit rose by 109% YoY from ₹11 crores to ₹23 crores, and on a sequential basis, their net profit rose by 15% from ₹20 crores. 

The company has a low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.41, a return-on-equity ratio of 19.6%, a return on capital employed of 23%, and a net profit margin of 8%. 

With a market capitalization of ₹2,960 crores, it is a small-cap company, the share price of the company rose by 17% in the last six months and 100% last year. For instance, if an investor invested ₹1 Lakh a year ago the current value would be ₹2 Lakh. 

The promoter of the company owns 48.6% of the stock, a foreign institutional investor owns 4.8%, a domestic institutional investor owns 8.26%, and a retail investor owns 38.26%. 

Venus Pipes & Tubes Limited is an Indian company that manufactures and exports stainless-steel pipes and tubes. They produce seamless and welded products under five categories including high precision & heat exchanger tubes, hydraulic & instrumentation tubes, seamless pipes, welded pipes, and box pipes.
