In Wednesday’s trading session, Alpex Solar Limited‘s share reached an intraday high of Rs. 709 per equity share, rising 4.35 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 679.45. The stock opened at Rs. 709 and is currently trading at Rs. 707. The market capitalization now stands at approximately Rs. 1,730.27 crore.
Q3 FY25 Result Walkthrough:
Coming into the quarterly results of Alpex Solar Limited, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 136.88 percent YOY, from Rs. 79.21 crore in Q3 FY24 to Rs. 187.63 crore in Q3 FY25, and dropped slightly by 0.41 percent QoQ from Rs. 188.40 crore in Q2 FY25.
In Q3 FY25, Alpex Solar Limited’s consolidated net profit increased by 422.84 percent YOY, reaching Rs. 23.58 crore compared to Rs. 4.51 crore during the same period last year. As compared to Q3 FY25, the net profit has slightly decreased from Rs. 23.60 crore in Q2 FY25.
The basic earnings per share increased by 283.67 percent and stood at Rs 9.63 as against Rs 2.51 recorded in the same quarter in the previous year 2024.
Expansion Plan:
Alpex Solar Limited is making a big expansion in solar energy with several key projects. The company is increasing solar module production to 2.4 GW in two phases, expanding its Greater Noida plant (adding 1.2 GW by FY25), and building a new 1.2 GW facility in Kosi Kotwan.
The company is also entering solar cell manufacturing with a 1.6 GW plant in Kosi Kotwan, completing in three phases by Sept 2026, costing around Rs. 642 crore. Additionally, the company is adding 12,000 tons of aluminum frame capacity, expanding EPC services (150 MW), and power production (100 MW) by FY27.
Business Operation:
Alpex Solar Limited has emerged as one of North India’s leading PV module manufacturers. The company has grown to employ 375 professionals, including industry experts. With a current manufacturing capacity of 900 MW for PV solar modules and experience in installing over 15,000 solar pumps. Alpex generates 100 percent of its revenues from domestic sales as of FY24.
