With a market capitalization of Rs. 215.91 Crores, the shares of Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited hit a 5 percent upper circuit in the day’s trade at Rs. 197.
Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited has been awarded a subcontract of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) worth Rs. 10.95 Crores from Gawar Construction Limited (EPC Contractor), the resultant to the contract awarded to EPC contractor by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
The said work order is for the work of shifting various EHV line electrical utilities, shifting of electrical towers and transformers including excavation, supply of materials, and erection, as shall be required under the project works and as per the sanctioned estimates of RRVPNL Division, Jodhpur, obtaining test reports of the same and liaisoning thereof.
Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited is engaged in the business of providing services for the construction and commissioning of electricity transmission and distribution systems.
Its revenue from operations grew by 23.19 percent from Rs. 49.59 Crores in FY22 to Rs. 61.09 Crores in FY23, accompanied by profits of Rs. 3.10 Crores to Rs. 5.51 Crores.
It has reported a return on equity (ROE) of 28.8 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 30.6 percent, it is making good returns on its equity and capital employed.
According to the latest shareholding data available for the January 2024, the company’s Promoters hold 70.26 percent stake, the Domestic Institutional Investors hold 4 percent and the Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) hold 2.40 percent.
