With a market capitalization of Rs. 110.44 cr, the shares of Rulka Electricals Ltd. were trading at Rs. 260.90 per equity share, up nearly 1 per cent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 259.35 per equity share. 

What Happened

Rulka Electricals Limited has announced securing new work orders worth ₹10.53 crore from an MNC realty client. The orders include Electrical Infra Works such as HT, LT, Ancillary, Fire Detection, Lighting Protection Systems, and CCTV Works across two project locations in Bangalore and Pune. These projects are expected to generate revenue over the next three quarters, with the company’s total order book now standing at ₹65 crore.

The Bangalore project, valued at ₹6.34 crore, covers Electrical, Fire Detection, Lighting Protection Systems, and CCTV Works for blocks B & C, as well as Infra Works for the common area of a 60-acre Phase-1 project. The Pune project, worth ₹4.19 crore, involves Infra Electrical Works, including HT, LT, Ancillary, and Lighting Protection Systems for the common infrastructure of a 56-acre Phase-1 development.

Financials

RULKA has reported an 18 percent fall in revenue of Rs 36.45 cr in H1FY24 to Rs 29.85 cr in H1FY25. This was also accompanied by an almost 70 percent fall in net profit from Rs. 3.06 cr to Rs. 0.94 cr. 

In terms of return ratios, it has reported a return on equity (ROE) of 14.19 percent and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 16.73  percent. In terms of liquidity ratios, the company reported a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.23.
