Small Cap stock that is engaged in the business of Edible oil and vanaspati, distillery of Liquor, Ethanol, and Real Estate in India jumped 10 percent after it won tenders worth Rs. 567 Crores for the supply of ethanol to various players which includes Reliance Industries. 

At 10:54 a.m the shares of BCL Industries Limited were trading at Rs. 58.55, up 8.23 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 54.10 and its market capitalization is Rs. 1,487 Crores. 

BCL Industries Limited along with its subsidiary Svaksha Distillery Limited had participated in a tender floated by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) inviting various molasses and grain-based distilleries to supply Ethanol during Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) commencing from 01/11/2023 till 31/10/2024 at their various locations across the country. 

Following the tenders placed, Bcl Industries has won orders worth Rs. 339 Crores for the supply of 2.48 KL and 2.48 KL of Ethanol from November 2023 to January 2024 and February 2024 to April 2024 respectively. 

Its Subsidiary Svaksha Distillery Limited has won orders worth Rs. 222 Crores for the supply of 1.44 KL and 1.80 KL of Ethanol from November 2023 to January 2024 and February 2024 to April 2024 respectively. 

In addition to this Svaksha Distillery Limited has bagged another order worth Rs. 6.73 Crore for the supply of 0.1 Lakh Litre of Ethanol to Reliance Industries. 

In FY23, BCL Industries generated 59 percent of its total revenue from Oil and Vanaspati, 40 percent from Distillery, and the remaining 1 percent from Real Estate. 

Recently it has commissioned a 200 KLPD Ethanol dedicated plant in Bathinda, with a project cost of around Rs. 205 Crores and work is going on for a 100 KLPD ethanol expansion at Svaksha Distillery Limited, with clearances secured and machinery orders placed. 

The company’s revenue from operations decreased 8.69 percent from Rs. 1,993.07 Crores in FY22 to Rs. 1,819.92 Crores in FY23, accompanied by profits of Rs. 84.84 Crores to Rs. 66.29 Crores. 

BCL Industries is mainly engaged in the business of Edible oil and vanaspati, distillery, and Real Estate in India. Its Oil and Vanaspati Segment Consists of vanaspati, refined oil, extraction of oil & solvents from seeds. Its Distillery segment consists of the production and marketing of liquor and the processing of ethanol. The Real Estate Segment consists of the construction of residential houses.
