This small-cap stock, a key player in India’s air conditioner OEM/ODM industry, surged nearly 19 percent after posting an 81 percent year-on-year revenue growth for Q2 FY25.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 21,584.20 crores, Amber Enterprises India Ltd. rose to an intraday high of Rs. 6,788.30 representing a 19.25 percent increase from its previous closing price of Rs. 5,692.45 per share. 

Reason for the Rise: 

According to exchange filings, Amber Enterprises India Ltd reported a net profit for Q2 FY25, reaching Rs 20.96 crore, up from a loss of Rs 5.65 crore in Q2 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, net profit declined by 71.94 percent, falling from Rs. 74.72 crore in Q1 FY25. 

Revenue from operations grew by 81 percent year-on-year to Rs. 1702.52 crore, compared to Rs. 939.81 crore in the same period last year. While revenue decreased by 29.7 percent from Rs. 2421.97 crore in Q1 FY25. 

For the first half of FY25, revenue rose by 55 percent to Rs. 4124.49 crores, up from Rs. 2661.11 crores in H1 FY24, while net profit showed an increase of 133 percent, reaching Rs. 95.68 crores compared to Rs. 40.95 crores in the previous year. 

The product-wise revenue breakdown for Q2 FY25 is as follows: 63 percent from Consumer Durables, 29 percent from Electronics, and 7 percent from Railway Sub-Systems & Mobility. 

Consumer durables reported a revenue growth of 95 percent, reaching Rs.1,069 crores. The electronics division grew by 98 percent, totaling Rs.492 crores, while the railway sub-systems and mobility segment saw a decline of 6 percent, bringing in Rs.124 crores.
