Microcap stock engaged in multi-brand retail and retail selling, as well as the distribution of tech-related software and hardware and many others, jumped upto 4 percent in the day’s trade following trade agreement with Samsung. 

Price Action 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 453 Crores, the shares of Logica Infoway Limited were trading at Rs. 264.90 per equity share, up 2.28 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 259. 

What Happened 

Logica Infoway Limited has officially tied up with the Samsung brand and become part of its ecosystem, by becoming the Tier 1 national Distributor for West Bengal and the National Capital Region (Delhi NCR) for the supply of Samsung products i.e. Laptops/Notebooks directly to Tier – II & Tier – III distributors. 

As a Samsung distributor, the company will offer an extensive range of Samsung’s cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions, Enhanced & exceptional customer support by the Logica’s team, and Exclusive offers, promotions, and deals on Samsung products, through Logica. 

About the Company 

Logica Infoway Eastern Logica Infoway Limited is engaged in multi-brand retail and retail selling, as well as the distribution of branded smartphones, information technology (IT) hardware, software, and allied accessories and services. It also provides networking and security solutions to its consumers. 

It generates 45 percent of its revenue from distribution activities, E-Commerce 25 percent, Export 19 percent, and retail 11 percent. Its brand and Channel Partners include Apple, Samsung, HP, Motorola, Boat, Redmi. Realme, Oneplus, Noise, Lenovo, and many others.

Financials & Ratios 

Its revenue from operations grew by 51 percent from Rs. 705 Crores in FY23 to Rs. 1,064 Crores in FY24, accompanied by profits of Rs. 4 Crores to Rs. 8 Crores. 

In terms of Return ratios, it has reported a return on equity (ROE) of 14.2 percent, and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 14.4 percent. It has reported a high debt-to-equity ratio of 1.76.
