On Tuesday, the shares of this micro-cap company surged by 10% to reach ₹144.30 per share, reaching the 52-week high, following the announcement of a company work order valued at ₹6.32 crores. 

At 12:15 p.m., Maestros Electronics & Telecommunication Systems Ltd shares were trading at ₹ 139 per share, up 5.95 % from the previous close price. The company has a market capitalization of ₹75.6 crore. 

The company reported in its exchange filing that it received an order worth ₹6.32 crores from “Assam Medical Services Corporation Limited” (AMSC) through “Progressive Enterprises.” The order is for the delivery of 1072 pieces of products named Multi–Para Monitor (Type – B), Model – Vital Track. The products come with a warranty of 3 years, and the company is required to fulfill the order within 90 days of receiving it. 

Maestros Electronics & Telecommunications Systems Ltd is in the business of Electronics & Instrumentation (E&T) and Telemedicine, Healthcare Solutions as well as Business Automation (Banking and Microfinance, financial inclusion, PDS automation). 

Maestros Electronics & Telecommunication shares have gained 34% in the last six months and 180% in a year. For example, an investment of ₹ 1 lakh in the company, a year ago would be worth ₹2.80 lakhs in a year. 

In Q2FY24, the company’s revenue declined by 25% year on year, dropping from ₹4.46 crore in Q2FY23 to ₹3.35 crore. Concurrently, in the same time frame, net profit has marginally increased by 36%, rising from ₹0.14 crore to ₹0.19 crore. 

During FY23, the majority of the company’s revenue, ₹23.72 crore, was generated from the Telemedicine segment, while ₹0.97 crore came from the Electronics and Instrumentation segment. 

As of the recent shareholding pattern, the company promoter holds a 55.56% stake in the company, while retail investors hold a 44.22 % stake in the company. 

In the recent financial year, the company reported a return on equity of 11.65% and a return on capital employed of 16.77%. Additionally, the company achieved a net profit margin of 12.11%.
