Although the year 2022 started strong, the second half of Jan 22 came with a quick correction in the market indexes. The major Indian Benchmark Indexes have declined in this time period, with Nifty 50 falling over -6.59% since making its high on 17th Jan 2022. From a 52-week high of 18,604.45 points, it is currently hovering at 17,101.95.
The BSE market index Sensex is also trading at 57,200.23, which is over 4,000 points down from its 52-week high of 62,245.43 points.
