Jio Platforms, the technological arm of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced a partnership with Subex Limited for its AI Orchestration Platform, HyperSense.

The shares of its new partner, Subex Limited surged 20% to ₹ 33.30 apiece and got locked at an upper circuit on Wednesday. The company’s HyperSense AI will augment Jio’s 5G product line, as per a statement issued on August 02, 2022.

Subex Limited said that HyperSense is an artificial intelligence-driven orchestration platform and that it can enable telcos to deliver on the promise of AI across the data value chain.

As per the collaboration, Jio platforms will offer its cloud Native 5G Core to telecom companies globally along with Subex’s HyperSense. This will enable closed-loop network automation, product performance and customer experience analytics.

Subex added that Jio Platform’s Cloud Native 5G Core implements the new 3GPP network architecture that will unleash the full power of 5G standalone. Further, it will enable faster connectivity speeds, ultra-low latency, and network reliability.

Suresh Chintada, Subex’s Chief Technology Officer said the partnership will allow operators to “address multiple use cases around customer experience and revenue growth”.

“JPL’s 5G stack complements the digital monetisation platforms of Subex to enable a wide range of 5G use cases,” said Jio Platforms’ senior vice president Aayush Bhatnagar. He added that the partnership will provide new opportunities to enable end-to-end 5G services for enterprises and consumers.
