This Tourism stock which deals in the business of providing travel-related products and services for end-to-end travel solutions, includes bus, rail and airline tickets, hotel and holiday packages, is in focus after its subsidiaries won M.P state tender for Inter City Bus.

Price Movement

In Monday’s trading session, Easy Trip Planners Ltd‘s share price touched a day’s low of Rs. 11.88, which was down by 2.86 percent. The share price reiterated from the day’s low and was trading at Rs. 12.05, which is 1.47 percent lower than the previous closing price of Rs. 12.23. 

In the past year, the stock has delivered a negative return of around 23 percent and has underperformed the Nifty Index. 

What Happened?

The company’s stock was in focus after Easy Trip Planners through its wholly owned subsidiaries YoloBus and Easy Green Mobility won its tender bid for Madhya Pradesh Government’s only first inter-city electric buses tender which is issued by Sagar City Transport Services Limited (SCTSL). 

The said electric buses shall be operated by YoloBus and manufactured by Easy Green Mobility. For this project, the first batch of electric buses is expected to be deployed in August 2025.

For Easy Green Mobility, In August 2025, the company plans to roll out in launch of 12-meter and 13.5-meter electric buses in phases followed by 9-meter electric buses introduction by November – December 2025.

The YoloBus plans to additionally deploy over 500 electric buses by the end of 2025 and expand by 2027.

Q3FY25 Financial Performance

Their Q3FY25 results show revenue from operations of Rs. 151 crore which declined by 6.21 percent year on year, from Rs. 161 crore in Q3FY24. Its net profit declined by 26.08 percent year on year, from Rs. 46 crores in Q3FY24 to Rs. 34 crores in Q3FY25. 

Business Segment

The company recognizes its operational revenue from Air Passage which contributes around 64.85 percent, Hotel Package contributed around 21.78 percent, and the remaining 13.37 percent as of the December 2024 quarter.
