The benchmark equity indices ended Friday’s trading session in negative territory. The overall market capitalisation of the firms listed on the BSE dropped to nearly Rs. 446.3 lakh crore, making investors poorer by about Rs. 8 lakh crore in a single session. 

At close, the NSE Nifty 50 plunged 269.95 points or 1.09 percent to finish the day’s trading at 24,530.90. While the BSE Sensex dipped 738.81 points or 0.91 percent to finish the day’s trading at 80,604.65. 

Here are seven companies that will announce their Q1FY25 results next week: 

Suzlon Energy Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs. 72,871 crores, the shares of Suzlon Energy started Friday’s trading session on a flatter note at Rs. 55.38 compared to its previous close of Rs. 55.39. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 53.82, losing around 3 percent and closed the day at Rs. 55 apiece. 

Suzlon Energy is scheduled to announce its quarterly results i.e., Q1FY25 on July 22, 2024. The shares have delivered a multibagger return of 200 percent to its shareholders in one year. 

Coming onto the company’s financial statements, the revenue zoomed by 40 percent from Rs. 1,552.91 crores during the December quarter to Rs. 2,179.2 crores during the March quarter. In addition, the net profits increased by 25 percent from Rs. 203.04 crores to Rs. 254.12 crores during the same period. 

Bajaj Finance Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs. 4,30,258 crores, the shares of Bajaj Finance started Friday’s trading session on a flatter note at Rs. 7,110. During the trading session, the share hit a low of Rs. 6,942.70, losing around 3 percent and closed the trading session at Rs. 6,932 apiece. 

Bajaj Finance is scheduled to announce its quarterly results i.e., Q1FY25 on July 23, 2024. The stock has given a negative return of 8 percent in one year. 

Looking at the company’s financial performance, the revenue increased by 5 percent from Rs. 14,164 crores during the December quarter to Rs. 14,926 crores in the March quarter. In addition, the net profits also increased by 5 percent from Rs. 3,639 crores to Rs. 3,825 crores during the same period. 

Hindustan Unilever Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs. 6,39,664 crores, the shares of Hindustan Unilever started Friday’s trading session on a flatter note at Rs. 2,739 compared to its previous close of Rs. 2,738.40. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 2,715.95, losing around 1 percent and closed the day at Rs. 2,727 apiece. 

Hindustan Unilever is scheduled to announce its quarterly results i.e., Q1FY25 on July 23, 2024. The stock has yielded a modest return of 2 percent to its shareholders. 

Looking at the company’s financial statements, the revenue decreased by 2 percent from Rs. 15,567 crores during the December quarter to Rs. 15,210 crores in the March quarter. Contrastingly, the net profits increased marginally by 2 percent from Rs. 2,508 crores to Rs. 2,561 crores during the same timeframe. 

Axis Bank Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs. 3,99,638 crores, the shares of Axis Bank started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 1,305.65 compared to its previous close of Rs. 1,309.40. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 1,291.60, losing around 2 percent and closed the day at Rs. 1,292 apiece.

Axis Bank is scheduled to announce its quarterly results i.e., Q1FY25 on July 24, 2024. The stock has delivered more than 30 percent to its shareholders in one year. 

Coming onto the company’s financial statements, the Net Interest Income (NII) increased by 4 percent from Rs. 12,922 crores during Q3FY24 to Rs. 13,503 crores in Q4FY24. On the other hand, the net profits zoomed by 17 percent from Rs. 6,493.36 crores to Rs. 7,613.55 crores during the same timeframe. 

Larsen & Toubro Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs. 4,96,843 crores, the shares of Larsen & Toubro started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 3,651 compared to its previous close of Rs. 3,656.20. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 3,611.70, losing around 1 percent and closed the day at Rs. 3,618 apiece. 

Larsen & Toubro is scheduled to announce its quarterly results i.e., Q1FY25 on July 24, 2024. The stock has delivered more than 40 percent to its shareholders in one year. 

Looking at the company’s financial performance, the revenue zoomed by 22 percent from Rs. 55,128 crores during Q3FY24 to Rs. 67,079 crores in Q4FY24. In addition, the net profits surged by around 40 percent from Rs. 3,593 crores to Rs. 5,013 crores during the same timeframe. 

Adani Green Energy Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,73,190 crores, the shares of Adani Green Energy started Friday’s trading session on a higher note at Rs. 1,750 compared to its previous close of Rs. 1,747.55. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 1,712.60, losing around 2 percent and closed the day at Rs. 1,723 apiece. 

Adani Green Energy is scheduled to announce its quarterly results i.e., Q1FY25 on July 25, 2024. The stock has delivered more than 70 percent to its shareholders in one year. 

Coming onto the company’s financial performance, the revenue jumped by 9 percent from Rs. 2,311 crores during the December quarter to Rs. 2,527 crores in the March quarter. In addition, the net profits surged by 21 percent from Rs. 256 crores to Rs. 310 crores during the same period. 

Cipla Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs. 1,19,997 crores, the shares of Cipla started Friday’s trading session on a lower note at Rs. 1,501.60 compared to its previous close of Rs. 1,506.65. During the trading session, the shares hit a low of Rs. 1,480.20, losing around 2 percent and closed the day at Rs. 1,485 apiece. 

Cipla is scheduled to announce its quarterly results i.e., Q1FY25 on July 26, 2024. The stock has delivered more than 40 percent to its shareholders in one year. 

Looking at the company’s financial statements, the revenue decreased by around 7 percent from Rs. 6,604 crores during Q3FY24 to Rs. 6,163 crores in Q4FY24. On the other hand, the net profits declined by around 13 percent from Rs. 1,068 crores to Rs. 932 crores during the same period.
