Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) are significant players in global financial markets, comprising various entities such as mutual funds, pension funds, and hedge funds, among others. They invest substantial capital across international borders, influencing the market dynamics, liquidity, and investment trends, thus playing a crucial role in shaping global investment landscapes and economic development. 

Here are the stocks in which FII increased their stake up to 3.14% in December 2024 from Q2FY25; 

NTC Industries ltd 

NTC Industries Ltd is engaged in the manufacturing of cigarette and smoking mixtures. In addition, the Company also supplies products, such as matchboxes, and incense sticks. The Company offers its products under two product categories: tobacco products, and lifestyle products. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 351.18 crore, the shares were trading at Rs 250.95 per share, increasing around 6 percent as compared to the previous closing price. 

The foreign institutional investors of the company increased their stake by 3.14%, from 0.02% in Q2FY25 to 3.16% in December 2024. Additionally, 41.75% is owned by retail investors, 0% is held by domestic institutional investors, and 55.11% is owned by promoters. 

The company’s revenue stood at Rs 15.42 crore in Q2FY25, during the same time frame, net profit stood at Rs 1.95 crore. 

Kalpataru Projects International ltd 

Kalpataru Projects International Limited provides EPC services for infrastructure projects such as buildings, industries, electricity transmission, roads, bridges, water pipes, railway track laying, and oil and gas pipelines. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 21,999.77 crore, the shares were trading at Rs 1,291.55 per share, increasing around 0.40 percent as compared to the previous closing price. 

The foreign institutional investors of the company increased their stake by 1.69%, from 10.71% in Q2FY25 to 12.40% in December 2024. Additionally, 8.23% is owned by retail investors, 45.84% is held by domestic institutional investors, and 33.52% is owned by promoters.

The company’s revenue stood at Rs 4,930 crore in Q2FY25, during the same time frame, net profit stood at Rs 126 crore. 

Senco Gold ltd 

Senco Gold Limited offers gold and diamond jewelry, but it also sells silver, platinum, precious and semi-precious stones, as well as other metals. The Company’s additional items include costume jewelry, gold and silver coins, and silver cutlery. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 8,745.09 crore, the shares were trading at Rs 1,069.05 per share, increasing around 1.09 percent as compared to the previous closing price. 

The foreign institutional investors of the company increased their stake by 1.51%, from 8.58% in Q2FY25 to 10.09% in December 2024. Additionally,12.94% is owned by retail investors, 12.86% is held by domestic institutional investors, and 64.10% is owned by promoters. 

The company’s revenue stood at Rs 1,459 crore in Q2FY25, during the same time frame, net profit stood at Rs 17 crore.
