Many users of the online brokerage app Zerodha, took to Twitter to report that they have issues accessing the portal. They said that they were unable to access the app and that the prices were not being updated on a day when the markets were volatile.
According to downdetector.com, 65 per cent of the users reported issues related to trading whereas 28% reported issues in mobile brokerage. Further, 6% of the users, on the other hand, reported issues in accessing the Zerodha website.
A user wrote, โ It seems #zerodha team is having long weekend vibes. ๐๐๐๐โ A few users asked Zerodha’s co-founder to compensate traders for losses.
“This is the third time I booked loss above Rs 1,500 because of Zerodha being down,” another user wrote. “Who is accountable for this, Zerodha?”
A company spokesperson said that the price was not updated for a few customers and the issue has been fixed. A user tweeted that the issue was fixed in ten minutes.
Indian markets opened in the green on Thursday. The BSE Sensex opened at 59,320.45 and reached a high of 59,484.99 while the NSE Nifty 50 opened at 17,711.65 points and reached a high of 17,719.30 during the day.
