The shares of the prominent electronic gadget manufacturer gained up to 13 percent after the company’s net profit and revenue magnified by 65 percent and 47 percent YoY, respectively in Q4.

With a market capitalization of Rs 9,215.70 crore, the shares of Symphony Ltd were trading at Rs 1,341.55 per share, increasing around 12.42 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 1,193.35 apiece.

Q4 Highlights

The shares of Symphony Ltd have seen bullish movement after reporting positive results in Q4FY25, revenue increased by 101 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis from Rs 242 crore in Q3FY25 to Rs 488 crore in Q4FY25. Further, revenue increased by 47 percent year on year, from Rs 332 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 488 crore in Q4FY25.

The company’s net loss turned into profits on a quarter-on-quarter basis, from a loss of Rs. 10 crore in Q3FY25 to profits of Rs. 79 crore in Q4FY25. Further, net profit magnified significantly by 65 percent year on year from Rs 48 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 79 crore in Q4FY25.

The company posted a strong FY24-25 performance, with revenue surging 36 percent from Rs 1,156 crore to Rs 1,576 crore. Net profit jumped 44 percent, from Rs 148 crore to Rs 213 crore, reflecting growth and improved profitability over the previous financial year. The board also approved the final dividend of Rs 8.00 (400 percent) per equity share having a face value of Rs 2  each for the financial year 2024-25.

Operational Highlights

Symphony is exiting Australia and Mexico to focus on India and high-potential export markets. It sees growth via new products like kitchen cooling and storage heaters, semi-urban market penetration, and favorable weather. The USA shows promise, and Brazil operations succeed. CT and IMPCO may continue sourcing from India and China.

Symphony’s management is optimistic, citing “once in a lifetime” US export opportunities, product diversification in India, and improved efficiency post-divestment. Though cautious on revenue or ROCE guidance, they expect strong performance. Capital allocation remains disciplined, with no large acquisitions and a focus on shareholder returns.
