With a market capitalization of Rs 9,879 crores, the shares of Sapphire Foods India Ltd are currently trading at Rs 307 per share, down by 23.5 percent from its 52-week high of Rs 401 per share. In the last one year, the stock has delivered a positive return of 8.3 percent.
Performance Highlights
Sapphire Foods India Ltd reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 2,881.8 crores in FY25, up by 11.1 percent from Rs 2,594.2 crores in FY24. On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, revenue rose by 12.6 percent to Rs 711.3 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 631.6 crores in Q4 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, it declined by 6 percent to Rs 711.3 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 756.5 crores in Q3 FY25.
It posted a net profit of Rs 16.7 crores in FY25, down by 68 percent from Rs 51.9 crores in FY24. Net profit declined by 0.49 percent YoY to Rs 2.02 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 2.03 crores in Q4 FY24. On a QoQ basis, it declined by 84 percent to Rs 2.02 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 12.7 crores in Q3 FY25.
As of FY25, it has 963 restaurants, which increased by 10 percent YoY from 872 restaurants in FY24. Its per restaurant sales improved by 11 percent YoY to Rs 2,875.4 crores in FY25 from Rs 2,588 crores in FY24. However, this performance declined by 6 percent to Rs 709.9 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 755 crores in Q3 FY25.
Segment Highlights
KFC India’s average daily sales declined by 8.8 percent to Rs 1,14,000 in FY25 from Rs 1,25,000 in FY24. During the same period, its restaurant sales increased by 11 percent to Rs 1,903.9 crores from Rs 1,715.7 crores. Its gross margin remained flat during the year. However, its gross margin took a hit of 30 bps from 68.3 percent in Q4 FY24 to 68 percent in Q4 FY25.
Pizza Hut India’s average daily sales remain unchanged to Rs 46,000 in FY25. Its restaurant sales increased by 5 percent to Rs 545 crores in FY25 from Rs 518.5 crores in FY24. Its gross margin improved by 20 bps during the year to 75.8 percent from previous 75.6 percent.
Sri Lanka business’s average daily sales increased by 20 percent to Rs 95,000 in FY25 from Rs 79,000 in FY24. During the same period, its restaurant sales increased by 24 percent to Rs 422.8 crores from Rs 339.7 crores. However, its gross margin took a hit of 50 bps to 61.1 percent in FY25 from 61.6 percent in FY24.
