The shares of this FMCG stock surged by approximately 8 percent after the company announced its financial results and made a couple of announcements. In this article, we will dive at the details.

With a market capitalization of Rs 7,829 crores, the shares of KRBL Ltd are currently trading at Rs 342 per share, up by 8 percent in the day’s trade from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 323.95.

Financial Highlights

KRBL reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 5,594 crores in FY25, up 3.88 percent from Rs 5,385 crores in FY24. Additionally, on a year-on-year basis, revenue grew 9.41 percent to Rs 1,442 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1,318 crores in Q4 FY24. However, on a quarterly basis, revenue declined by 14.27 percent from Rs 1,682 crores.

Around 4,013 crore, 1,486 crore, and 95 crore has been contributed by the domestic, export and power segment respectively to the topline in FY25. Overall domestic revenue remained flat as a 3 percent growth in branded basmati volumes which was offset by a 2 percent decline in realization per unit.

It reported a net profit of Rs 476 crores in FY25, down 20.13 percent from Rs 596 crores in FY24. On a year-on-year basis, net profit rose 35 percent to Rs 154 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 114 crores in Q4 FY24. On a quarterly basis, net profit increased by 15.79 percent from Rs 133 crores. Additionally, it recommended a final dividend of Rs 3.50 per share of face value of Rs 1 (350 percent), subject to approval of shareholders of the Company. 

It has the highest market share of 38.8 percent in the GT segment and 42.2 percent in the MT segment. As compared to India, KRBL reported an increase of 29 percent in the Basmati Realization (per MT).
