India’s packaged foods sector is rapidly expanding, with the market reaching US$113.9 billion in 2023 and projected to grow at a CAGR of 7.08 percent to US$210.81 billion by 2032. Dairy products lead with a 38.8 percent share, followed by snacks at 32.3 percent. Growth is fueled by urbanization, rising incomes, and increasing demand for convenience foods.

With a market capitalization of Rs 4,113.16 crore, the shares of Gopal Snacks Ltd was trading at Rs 330.05 per share, decreasing around 1.56 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 335.30 apiece.

FY26 Guidance

Gopal Snacks aims for 18–20 percent revenue growth in FY26, targeting Rs 1,750–1,800 crore, building on its FY25 performance. Management also projects around 25 percent growth in EBITDA in absolute terms, reflecting the company’s focus on expanding its savory product portfolio and driving profitability through operational efficiency.

Further, management highlighted a strategic shift in the company’s product mix, noting that ₹5 price point packs, once contributing around 75 percent of revenue, now account for less than 70 percent. The goal is to further reduce this to 62–63 percent by FY26 to improve the overall revenue composition.

Financial & Operational Highlights

Recently, the company announced its financial performance for Q4FY25, revenue dipped by 12 percent from Rs 359 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 317 crore in Q4FY25. During the same period, net profits turned into loss from a profit of Rs 26 crore to a loss of Rs 40 crore.

Gopal Snacks operates six manufacturing facilities, including three ancillary units, with a total installed capacity of 298,931 MT and 40,000 MT in-house cold storage. Its distribution spans 13 states and 2 union territories, supported by 852 distributors and a fleet of 297 owned logistics vehicles for efficient delivery.
