Passenger Traffic Performance (May 2026)
GMR Airports demonstrated resilient traffic growth during May 2026, handling a total of 10.63 million passengers (excluding Cebu), reflecting a 6.1% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Delhi Airport remained the key contributor, recording 7.17 million passengers, up 14.7% YoY, while Hyderabad Airport handled 2.55 million passengers, witnessing an 8.6% decline.
Mopa Airport in Goa and Medan Airport in Indonesia reported passenger declines of 3.5% and 8.9%, respectively, whereas Cebu Airport in the Philippines posted a modest 1.9% growth.
YTD FY27 Traffic Highlights
For the year-to-date FY27 period, total passenger traffic across the portfolio reached 20.46 million passengers, up 0.5% YoY. Delhi Airport handled 13.82 million passengers, registering 6.9% growth, while Hyderabad and Medan airports reported declines of 11.8% and 13.5%, respectively. The company crossed the 20.4 million passenger milestone, marking its highest-ever total passenger traffic for the period, supported primarily by strong domestic traffic growth at Delhi Airport.
Aircraft Movements Performance
Total aircraft movements (excluding Cebu) stood at 66,434 in May 2026, increasing 2.3% YoY. Delhi Airport recorded 42,477 movements, up 11% YoY, while Hyderabad, Mopa, and Medan airports witnessed declines of 8.8%, 15.1%, and 12.4%, respectively. Cebu Airport continued its positive momentum with a 4.6% increase in aircraft movements.
Delhi Airport achieved several operational records during YTD FY27, including its highest-ever passenger traffic, domestic passenger traffic, aircraft movements, and cargo volumes. Hyderabad Airport reported its highest domestic passenger traffic and domestic aircraft movements since December 2025, while Goa’s Mopa Airport recorded its highest-ever total passenger traffic in YTD FY27.
Traffic Resilience and Long-Term Growth Outlook
GMR Airports served approximately 11 million passengers in May 2026 across its entire portfolio, including 8.3 million domestic passengers and 2.4 million international passengers.
Monthly traffic has remained above 10 million passengers since October 2025, highlighting strong demand resilience. The company expects long-term growth, with a projected five-year total passenger CAGR of around 8.8%, driven by international traffic expansion at a CAGR of approximately 12.5%.
