With a market capitalization of Rs. 575.44 crores, the shares of Teerth Gopicon Limited’s stock surged by 5 percent, reaching an upper circuit of Rs. 479.55 per share on Thursday, up from its previous closing price of Rs. 456.75 per share. Since then, the stock has retreated and is currently trading at Rs. 477.50 per equity share. 

What Happened

Teerth Gopicon Limited (TGL) has secured an order worth Rs. 2.99 crore from NHPC Limited for the development of rooftop solar power projects under the PM Surya Ghar, Muft Bijli Yojna. The project will be executed across NHPC buildings in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. 

The company will complete the EPC portion within nine months, followed by a five-year comprehensive O&M period. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and clean energy solutions. The project aligns with India’s renewable energy goals, further strengthening TGL’s presence in the sector. 

Order book 

The company boasts a strong order book worth Rs. 1,081.25 crore, primarily driven by water supply projects as of September 2024. This indicates promising future revenue growth, highlighting its stability, market presence, and potential for sustained business expansion.

The company is actively engaged in multiple projects, primarily focused on water supply under the Jal Jivan Mission, including the Dindori, Garoli, and Sanaudha Multi-Village Water Supply Schemes. 

Additionally, it is executing urban infrastructure projects like Ujjain Water Supply Augmentation (Amrut 2.0), Smart City Indore initiatives, and land redevelopment at MOG Lines Barracks and Mhow Naka Square. 

Business operations 

The company offers diverse infrastructure solutions, including sewerage networks, water treatment plants, and building construction, ensuring sustainability and safety. It specializes

in canals, anicuts, overhead tanks, gabion bridges, and compound walls, alongside repair and renovation services. 

Recent quarter results 

Teerth Gopicon Limited’s revenue has increased from Rs. 37 crore in H1 FY24 to Rs. 68 crore in H1 FY25, which has grown by 83.78 percent. The net profit has also grown by 233.33 percent, from Rs. 3 crore in H1 FY24 to Rs. 10 crore in H1 FY25.
