SEPC Limited has secured a ₹442.8 crore order for the “Jamaniyan to Kakrait Gangajal Uvah Irrigation Scheme” under the Pragati Yatra initiative in Kaimur district. The 24-month project involves developing a water supply scheme under the Zamanian Pump Canal Division, Mohania.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,558.90 Crores on Thursday, the shares of SEPC Limited jumped upto 9.9 percent, making a high of Rs. 13.30 compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 12.10.
What happened
SEPC Limited, a company engaged in providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across various sectors, has announced a prestigious Work Allocation Order from the Chief Engineer’s Office, Irrigation, Generation, Water Resources Department, Delhi, for the “Jamaniyan to Kakrait Gangajal Uvah Irrigation Scheme.”
The total contract value stands at Rs. 4,42,79,92,121.11 (approximately Rs. 442.80 crore). This project is part of the Pragati Yatra initiative and will be executed under the Zamanian Pump Canal Division, Mohania, in Kaimur district. The contract, classified as a domestic water supply scheme, is to be completed within 24 months.

The company’s revenue rose by 15.05 percent from Rs. 176 crore to Rs. 202 crore in Q1FY25-26. Meanwhile, Net profit rose from Rs. 8 crores to Rs. 17 crores during the same period.
The company maintains a strong financial position with a low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.24. It has demonstrated robust performance, delivering a profit growth of 38.4% CAGR over the last five years.
