Synopsis:
Garuda Construction and Engineering Limited has been awarded an EPC contract of Rs.143.96 crore by Orbit Ventures Developers for the civil construction of the “Shikhar-B” redevelopment project in Oshiwara, Mumbai.

The shares of a small-cap company provide end-to-end civil construction for residential, commercial, and residential cum commercial, infrastructure, and industrial projects, drew investor attention after securing a contract worth Rs.143.96 crore. 

With a market capitalization of Rs.1,882.70 Crores, the shares of Garuda Construction and Engineering Limited were trading at Rs.202.65, up by 7.76 percent from its previous day closing price of Rs.188.05.

Work Order 

Garuda Construction and Engineering Limited has received an EPC work order worth Rs.143.96 crore from Orbit Ventures Developers for the civil work of the “Shikhar-B” redevelopment project in Oshiwara, Mumbai.

The project is expected to be completed within 36 months from the receipt of the further commencement certificate. Under the contract terms, Garuda Construction will be compensated through the allotment of earmarked flats in the redeveloped project instead of a direct cash payment.
