World Wide Entertainment famously known as WWE has been planning for an expansion to Saudi Arabia for 10 years and the wait might be just over.With the Saudi Arabia’s Minister and Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Al Sheikh confirmed it informally on his social media accounts.
This is exciting news for the WWE fans as we can expect different wrestlers,game style additions and much more.I believe WWE will have something different planned for their first global expansion.
History made
This will be the first time WWE WrestleMania will go outside America.This is beneficial for both parties as WWE has plans for global expansion and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance their cultural diplomacy.
Deal
This is the most significant step yet in WWE’s lucrative deal with the Saudi government, which started in 2018. As per the 10-year partnership, Saudi Arabia hosts multiple premium live events each year, reportedly paying a site fee of around $50 million per show.
The deal was not just for WrestleMania but a collaboration of WWE and Saudi Arabia since 2018. Already two premium events have been initiated, the Crown jewel and Royal Rumble
TKO’s strategy
TKO is the parent company of the WWE.They are looking to expand globally with the President being very open about the cause being “cash”.The company is also blunt with how they are going to approach this.Pursuing site fees, Inviting cities and nations to bid for WWE marquee events inspired by the F1.

Even though the Chairman of Entertainment has confirmed the deal from his social media, it is still considered unofficial.Reliable sources confirm that all the information is accurate and will be announced soon(tentatively)as a date is not set or given.
