Synopsis:
Subex Limited has won a USD 6.62 million contract with a Netherlands telecom operator to deliver an MVNO billing platform. The 6-year deal includes managed services from Subex’s UK data center, aiming to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

The shares of a Micro-Cap company, specializing in providing digital trust solutions for Communication Service Providers (CSPs), hit a 10 percent upper circuit after securing a significant contract from a leading telecom operator in the Netherlands.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 740.16 crores on Friday, the shares of Subex Ltd hit a 10 percent upper circuit, making a high of Rs. 13.17 per share compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 11.98 per share.

What Happened 

Subex Limited, engaged in providing digital trust solutions for Communication Service Providers (CSPs has secured a significant contract with a leading telecom operator in the Netherlands.

The order is to deliver a single, converged platform for Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) billing and wholesale partner settlement. This contract, valued at USD 6.62 million (Rs. 54.76 crore), extends Subex’s existing partnership with the operator, which already covers areas like Routing, Interconnect, OTT, SMS, DCB, and Wholesale Billing. 

The contract spans a period of 6 years, with an option to extend for an additional 2 years, subject to upward revisions of commercial terms.  Subex will provide end-to-end managed services, hosted from its UK data center. The program will converge billing and settlement under 100% Managed Services and Business Operations, designed to drive substantial efficiency.

The project aims to consolidate the operator’s wholesale billing and settlement processes, enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high standards of service level agreements (SLA). The operator is expanding its network with high-speed broadband and leveraging this contract to improve service delivery across its footprint.

Financial & Others

The company’s revenue declined by 2.58 percent from Rs. 68 crore to Rs. 66 crore in Q1FY25-26. Meanwhile, Net loss from Rs. 11 crores turned to a profit of  Rs. 13 crores during the same period.
